Joe is CEO and founder of Edge Theory, The Find Engine. Edge Theory is a fully managed social branding service. Edge Theory’s uniqueness is in creating data maps around businesses (non-profit and for-profit), then creating, publishing, and monitoring social messages to find new customers. Edge Theory’s solution finds customers by increasing the authority of a business, growing their reach and influencing consumer’s decisions. Edge Theory services clients in industries including hospitality, health care, non-profits, tourism, government, and fashion. Among its clients are Mayo Clinic, Match.com, Dormeuil, and Mississippi College.
Joe has provided social strategy consulting to executive teams including Viking Range, HomeAway, Match.com and the New Orleans Saints. Facebook used his work for Viking as an internal case study in social branding excellence.
Prior to Edge Theory, Joe worked at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting based out of Europe and North America. Joe co-founded Musicforce.com in the 1998, and was the internet’s largest retailer of CCM music. MusicForce was acquired by Gaylord Entertainment for $30 million. Joe was EVP of business development at Gaylord, where he oversaw all aspects of digitizing the company’s entertainment assets in hospitality, music, sports and movies.
